Our Kentucky United Methodist Churches will receive the annual Have a Heart for Seniors Love Offering on May 12.

This important day supports the charitable care ministries at Wesley Manor Retirement Community and Wesley Village, who are committed to providing an affordable, secure home for seniors. As we age, a home becomes a safe place that is comfortable and familiar. Unfortunately, the costs associated with housing are often the largest expense that seniors have.

A spirit of benevolence is an important part of the Methodist Church’s mission. Simply put, benevolence is showing love through giving. It marks our collective show of support for those seniors who have made a difference in our lives, churches, and communities.
