Wesley Manor is more than just a home – it’s a thriving community where residents truly shine. One standout resident is Ron Swogger, who has been a beloved part of Wesley Manor for the past eight years.
Ron and his wife, Juanita, chose Wesley Manor as their home after Juanita’s sisters lived there, seeking a place that felt right. Though Ron initially had reservations, the community soon became a place of deep connection and purpose for him.
Guided by his strong faith, Ron regularly visits the Health Care Center, offering comfort and companionship to those who may feel lonely. “I like to be a familiar face,” he shares. “We talk and pray together.”
Ron’s days begin with prayers and devotionals, which he credits for keeping him aligned with God’s plans. He stays active in both Independent and Assisted Living, participating in community events and even saying, “I’m busier now than when I worked full-time!”
One of his favorite ways to give back is writing birthday and Christmas cards for all residents and staff. “It’s only through God’s grace that I’m able to do this,” Ron reflects.
Ron’s positivity and dedication have deeply enriched Wesley Manor, embodying the sense of community that makes it so special. Thank you, Ron, for your incredible contributions -you are truly the heart of Wesley Manor!
