How Your Gift Makes a Difference
Why Sustained Giving?
Sustained giving offers a simple way to make an ongoing impact. Small, regular contributions – whether monthly or quarterly – add up to powerful support over time. This steady funding helps us plan for the future, meet residents’ evolving needs, and fund housing and care for residents who need financial assistance to stay at home at Wesley Manor Retirement Community.
Your Partnership in Our Mission
Our commitment to providing loving, faith-centered care remains unwavering – but we can’t do it alone. The Hearts of Wesley Society is a vital partnership with our community with a legacy of kindness and generosity dating back to 1914. As a donor, you help us continue to meet the needs of Louisville’s aging population.
Hearts of Wesley Society
This exclusive group of committed supporters give monthly to help ensure that every resident at Wesley Manor Retirement Community receives the care, dignity, and support they deserve, regardless of financial circumstances. These monthly gifts are more than a donation – it’s a way to offer love, care, and comfort to our seniors. For residents who have outlived their savings, your gift is a lifeline.

Investing in Our Team’s Future
Wesley Manor Retirement Community proudly established the Deanna Young Scholarship in 2024, dedicated to supporting our dedicated and professional staff pursuing careers in nursing, senior living, or ministry. This scholarship reflects our commitment to investing in our team’s growth, providing financial assistance that empowers recipients to achieve their educational and career aspirations. By reducing the financial barriers to higher education, the Deanna Young Scholarship helps our staff gain advanced skills, deepen their expertise, and bring even greater value to the residents and families we serve. It’s just one way we honor and support the incredible dedication of our team members as they strive to make a difference in the lives of others. This annual scholarship is named in honor of Deanna Young, RN, BSN, who served our residents and employees for 28 years in various roles including Nurse Educator, Director of Nursing, Director of Resident Services, and Vice President of Resident Services.
We invite the public to support this scholarship fund by making donations to Methodist Retirement Homes of Kentucky, Inc.
