Celebrating Excellence
in Long-Term Care Administration
On May 8, long-term care administration professionals gathered for the 57th Annual Convocation of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA). Dedicated to fostering excellence and quality within the field, ACHCA serves as a beacon for administrators committed to advancing standards and driving innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of long-term senior healthcare.
Among the highlights of the evening was the recognition of emerging talent through the prestigious Hollander Scholarships—an accolade bestowed upon individuals poised to make significant contributions to the field. Wesley Manor’s Terry Dickerson, a shining example of dedication and promise, was honored to receive this distinguished award, affirming his commitment to excellence and his potential as a future leader in long-term care administration.
The senior care profession thrives on innovation and fresh perspectives, and recognizing and supporting emerging leaders is paramount to ensuring a vibrant future for long-term care administration. Ray Dickison, WMRC President, says, “We are so proud of Terry for receiving this recognition! He is doing a wonderful job and has a bright future as a leader in our profession.”
Terry’s journey serves as an inspiration to us all. Together, let us continue to uphold the highest standards of care and lead the way towards a brighter, more inclusive future for healthcare administration.
